- I grew up in Harlem during the Depression but I was extremely fortunate to have an opportunity to go to college tuition-free.
When I retired and I thought, "If I can even help one person go to college, I'll have done something really great."
So I support one student with a scholarship.
I'd see the values of PBS in sync with my values and just the way I wanna pass on a legacy of education, I would like to pass PBS on to the next generation.
That's why I've included my PBS station in my estate planning.
