This visual history of Milwaukee traces the city from its beginnings of pristine waters, fertile lands, and home to Native Americans. Then, French explorers and settlers arrive. Soon, Milwaukee becomes a city, and its founders--Solomon Juneau, Byron Kilbourn, and George Walker--battle for supremacy.
